Football for Life in Ukraine - Disabled solders learn to play football

It is not so easy for a man without a limb to keep going for its favorite sports activity, to get adapted to further fulfilled life. Media is active to cover and support the initiatives and projects of helping disabled Ukrainian soldiers to get adapted in life both physically and morally. "With each training, it becomes easier for our heroes": how Ukrainian soldiers with amputations learn to play football. Twice a week, Ukrainian military personnel who were severely wounded at the front and were left without limbs train at one of the Kyiv stadiums. They play mini-football. The project for people with disabilities was launched by the Ukrainian Football Association to help military personnel rehabilitate. How these trainings are done - see in the video. For servicemen who escaped injury, but are tired of the physical and mental stress of the battlefield, overwhelmed by emotional trials, playing football is an invaluable opportunity to free their body, thoughts and feelings from heavy reality. It switches them over, put their drive and enthusiasm into another pleasant relaxing challenge, together with their relatives as spectators and fans.
